The Period of Prophet Ibrahim

Q.) About how many years ago did Hazrat Ibrahim (Alayhi Salaam) come and how many years ago did he build Ka'baa?

A.) Ibn Tuloon (RA) has mentioned in Rasaail Taarikhiyya two views from Ebrahim (Alayhis salaam) to Nabi Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam one is 4162 years and the other 4790 years. In another book Taarikh-e-Makkah Musharrafah wal Madina Musharrafah by ibn Diyaa, a narration of 4316 years is mentioned.

However, due to these being historical facts, we are unable to determine the authenticity of such narrations.
