Kaffarah for Fasting

| Q.) What is the kaffarah of Sawm? Can we give kaffarah to same person or anyone? Can we give kaffarah after Ramadan? [Ahmad Muhammad] |
A.) The Kaffarah of Sawm (fasting) is to fast 60 days continuously.
If a person is unable to fulfill the above, he has to substitute it by feeding the poor in lieu of each day's meal which is being equivalent to Sadaqatul Fitr. This Kaffarah may be given during or after Ramadan. And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
